Örspuszta is in the central part of Hungary, in Fejér county. It is an hour and half drive from Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, and only an hour away from the biggest lake in Central Europe, Lake Balaton.
How to get there: Örspuszta is 5km west from Sárbogárd, approachable on the road towards Mezőszilas. The name Örspuszta has been around since the Roman Empire, because one of their often-travelled roads went through here (when it was a swamp), and the romans had an outpost.

To get the fish out of the water the use of a net is mandatory. The fish should not be subjected to long suffocation by leaving it on land; it should be kept in a net in the water after the hook is removed from its mouth. The fish that the angler does not intend to keep must be immediately returned to the water. Try to avoid touching the gills or harming the animal in any other way. If, despite being careful, the fish is hurt (hook too deep in, other injuries, etc), it must not be released.
Harmful treatment of fish will result in expulsion and permanent ban from the premises.
If fish dies due to improper treatment, the angler is required to pay the price of that fish.
Rods may only be active, with lines in the water, if guests are supervising it. Anyone who leaves their fishing spots are required to take their rods out.
Peace and quiet:
Please avoid shouting and making loud noises for the sake of others around you. Drunk and disorderly behavior will result in expulsion from the premises.
Before leaving, the caught fish must be weighed and then paid for in the fishing shop. Fish can only be put into the vehicle and taken away after payment.
Monitoring and control:
We ask all our customers to open their bags and show them clearly to the warden. Without any offensive intent, we do this only to avoid any theft. It's within the warden's authority to do random checks inside guests' belongings and vehicles before letting them leave. If caught with unlawfully acquired fish, the guest will be asked to hand in all the fish in his possession, pay the fine and will be banned from our premises.
Specific rules for certain lakes are displayed on large message boards on the shores. These will show the main qualititative and quantitative parameters of the fish stock introduced to that lake, and any restrictions or rules.
We ask everyone to stop fishing 15 minutes before closing time.
We wish you a pleasant time!
